our approach
Every individual and family is unique, and every challenge deserves a safe, compassionate space. We offer therapeutic support tailored to the needs of adults, children, and adolescents, with a focus on strengthening relationships and helping couples and families thrive together.
Our approach ensures that families and children receive the right support, at the right time, the first time round – which reduces re-admissions to other services, in case of children in care; facilitates faster returns to lower-cost community living and brings an end to the cycle of failed placements.

INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLOR FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, DDP PRACTITIONER BECOMING CERTIFIED AND THERAPEUTIC SOCIAL WORKER
I am an Integrative Counsellor, DDP Practitioner becoming certified, and an independent Therapeutic Social Worker. I hold a Master’s in Social Work, a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents. I completed DDP levels 1 and 2 training, and I am currently on practicum. Additionally, I am currently studying Systemic Theory and Practice at the University of Bath.
I worked in education, residential, and youth work settings before starting in Children’s Social Care. I completed a Social Work MA at Opole University in Poland in 2002 and registered as a social worker in Poland and later in the UK. During my time with Social Services, I worked in Assessment, Children in Need/CP, Leaving Care, Fostering, and Permanence teams.
My extensive experience in working with children who have experienced trauma and attachment issues is a testament to my expertise. I have also worked with families, children, and foster and kinship carers where children display behavioural difficulties and struggle to function in a family, a home or an education setting.
I have completed a wide range of training in therapeutic approaches, focusing on attachment and developmental trauma. In 2014, I qualified as a counsellor and have been developing as a therapist since. In 2015, I set up an independent counselling practice where I offer regular therapy to adults, children and adolescents.
My approach to therapy is flexible, integrating various models to suit each individual. I offer DDP parent and family work, PACE and Attachment Groups, and counselling sessions for adults and children. My practice in DDP focuses on relationships and is underpinned by an understanding of attachment and trauma and their impact on the neurobiology of the brain.
My passion for helping people to heal, strengthen and stay together is the driving force behind my work. I am dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for adults and children, and working alongside families and professionals to accomplish this.

ASSOCIATE INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLOR FOR ADULTS, COUPLE COUNSELLOR AND PERSONAL BODY AND MIND TRAINER
I am an integrative counsellor with 9 years of experience, dedicated to supporting clients in improving their mental health, building self-awareness, enhancing emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and navigating life’s challenges.
I have worked with adults and couples from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, phobias, OCD, depression, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties. Over the years, I have helped many clients by drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, and CBT.
In addition to counselling, I am also a qualified personal trainer, which gives me a deeper understanding of how physical activity, time spent outdoors, and a healthy lifestyle can positively influence both mental and physical well-being.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves the chance to be heard and to express themselves freely in a safe, non-judgmental space. I see counselling as a powerful tool for personal growth, resilience, and the enrichment of both individual lives and relationships.

ASSOCIATE INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLOR FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, AND CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
I am an integrative therapist with over five years’ experience, offering compassionate, tailored therapy for children, adolescents, and families. My approach is centred on helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported, so they can make the most of their time in therapy and move towards positive change.
As an integrative practitioner, I draw on a range of counselling theories and approaches, allowing me to adapt my work to suit each child, young person, or family as unique individuals with their own needs, strengths, and experiences.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in schools for 14 years. This has given me a strong understanding of the education system, the challenges children and adolescents face within it, and the importance of working collaboratively with families. This background helps me to support not only young people, but also parents and carers, in a holistic and informed way.
I am fully qualified to work with children and currently support young people in both schools and private practice. I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, confidence, bullying, relationship difficulties, trauma and sexual trauma, grief and loss, experiences of being in care or placed away from home and supporting young carers.
I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where children and young people feel able to express themselves at their own pace. Depending on their age, needs, and preferences, I may use creative and play-based methods such as Lego, art materials, junk modelling, or talk-based therapy. Sometimes this simply involves listening carefully and helping them put words to their feelings.
When working with families, I value collaboration and open communication, which support a stronger understanding, connection, and resilience within the family system.
My goal is always to help children, adolescents, and families feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
